Celebrity Death Match -- Gemini vs Ash

I'll tell you after I get to spend some quality time with my ASH-1 from the BladeShowGanzaa... :D

The ash 1 guys aren't speaking up because it's like the fat girl in high school, she'll get the job done but you really don't want your friends to see. The TGLB, to quote George Jones "she's long and lean. Every young mans dream"

Holding the line here with one TGLB, (do like it, light in hand, great balance, sleek and sexy), along with...eleven ASH1's. And long lived? Original Steel Heart, with same basic shape, dates from the 1980's. "Let's go to Andy and hear from those 'down under' ASH1 connoisseurs"...;-)

Yes!!! The rally call has beckoned reinforcements!! I was getting worried there . . .

The sentries reported your clarion call. Reinforcements mounting up, and moving out!...One squad's worth. Heavy weapons locked and loaded, Sir!...;-)

I've owned a Fat-ASH and a Skinny-ASH and A TGLB. Only the TGLB remains.

Any of you guys ever try to chop with that ASH? Ever heard the term "Busse-Pinky"?

Chop with it and you will find out.... :D Granted it is certainly not a dedicated chopper but I do like to chop with my knives. The TG handles this task better.

Now don't get me wrong. I think it is a fine knife. The TG is a better design though IMO.

.

Good point, kd. I do a lot less chopping/wood processing nowadays than when I camped extensively some 30 years ago. Around the yard here, I mainly reach for my well worn Battle Rat...;-)

The TGLB is the ONLY knife I have ever ordered a 2nd of....Just in case I could no longer get another.

It is also the only knife I'd die before parting with. Never have a known a knife to inspire me to pay $250 for a custom sheath, this is also the blade I wore to my wedding and cut the wedding cake with. During Thanksgiving it is my Turkey knife and for Christmas it cuts the Prime Rib. My family knows that only the TGLB will be used for holidays and special occasions.
