CF Civilian?

Well, if we keep making noise, that will help. I have another suggestion that will help get Sal's attention.

Every BladeForum's member who buys a CF Civilian makes a contribution to the Children's Hospital of Denver. Obviously this is on the honor system and we can only speak for BladeForums. I will start now by pledging $50 if Sal makes a serrated CF Civilian. If Sal get's a Plain Edge CF Civilian in the works, I'll pledge $100. That makes the knife more expensive, but it also goes to a good cause.

Who's with me?

I got a couple of hits on the Spyderco Forum about my idea. Let's not let this die. Persistence will be required if we want to see a CF Civilian.

I'll take a plain CF Civie as well. Would that be $250+ street price or retail?

How about making it with a linerlock this time? You could use the handle design of the Military as a guide.

OR

How about a Civilian jr. using the handle of the Military jr (and I wouldn't care if you used CF or G10!

Please, Please make this happen! Thanks!

A great idea gets better...traction grooves of some kind is a masterstroke of genius!

Extra grip? I like the idea.

CF handle with a black blade to be discreet, count me in....

OK - I want one - bright - I want the bad guy to see it and repent!

And the Denver Children's Hospital donation sounds like a good idea to me. If there's any knife that wants to begin its useful life with a relentlessly peaceful Good Deed, it's that one!

If the run was real limited and the knives were numbered with a nice little pouch or sheath....hmmmmm, I'd be in! Make mine a plain edge please!

I'm liking this! There's a lot of interest here. I think I am even seeing more interest in the Plain Edge, than in past discussions.

Sal I'd have to check the check book balance but count me in. If you make 'em in plain and spidie edge I'm going to be in trouble

Join in Sal. We'd love to have some input from you. We know you are busy, but if you could shed some light onto how we can convince you this is another knife Spyderco desperately needs to make, we would appreciate it!

This is the ultimate: A CF Civilian with traction grooves (since CF is slippery), a black clip for low profile when carried, and a high polished blade (make mine spydie serrated) so that your opponent knows exactly what you have!

I'm listening. It's not impossible. I'll need to do a little checking to see where the numbers fall.
