I'm about to go pick up the only CF paramilitary 2 I could find and I was wondering since it's a sprint run should I not edc it?

Will it appreciate in value enough to warrant keeping it at safe queen status? Or should I carry it and enjoy?

Some people are already selling it for quite a profit. But I like to carry mine even if I don't get much opportunity to use it anymore. It really is quite light in your hand.

I'd buy THREE: One to enjoy, one for the next generation to enjoy, and one to be the Queen of the safe!

Yeah, it's a sprint run...

I have one on the way. I am going to throw it down the driveway when it arrives. Just to make sure that it is a user.

Perfect! Use it, enjoy it, get all the benifits from it. It does you no good sitting somewhere looking pretty.
(YMMV, I'm the kind of person who would stop on the way home from buying a brand new pickup truck to get a load of cow manure)

I find myself doing the same thing, im so compulsive that i wont use, most any knife unless i deface it in some way, its weird because the knives i do use i use very hard, but i have many many more safe queens than users.

To OP my advice would be get 2 (if yiou cna find anthoer soemhow) one for the safe and one for the pocket. If not id safe queen a sprint run no questions asked.

I got lucky and snagged two but I've carried one of them since the day I got it and we're going on almost two weeks now. It hasn't left my pocket and it pushed out the two Hogue EX01's I have and that is saying something special about this knife. I carried one or the other Hogue almost exclusively for nearly 3 months from the time I got the first one.

The CF S90V Para 2 is a world class production EDC to say the least.

I personally dont buy anything to be a safe queen, I buy it for what it is, a tool. I don't really think about the resale value when I buy a knife. I just bought a Manix 2 CTS from a BF member, have a PM2 CTS on pre-order, and a PM2 S90V on pre-order,all sprint runs and plan on using them all.

It's your choice. But buying the world's most wear resistant stainless steel and never even making a single cut to take advantage of that specialty steel you spent your money on seems a little funny.

Well I picked it up and also a digi camo s30v military. I like them both but the para2 has some blade play and that means it's not perfect, so I'll be using it.

Also my para2 came with some kind of green gunk in the pivot and some of it was in the jimping also. I cleaned it out with mineral oil but was that corrosion of some sort or just something that got in there somehow?

If the play is side to side, you can adjust it by playing with the pivot screws on BOTH sides almost always. I was able to adjust the one I carry from so tight it almost wouldn't deploy to loose. I found a perfect place right in the middle - smooth as glass and tight ;)

Same here, only takes a few seconds.

I don't know about y'all but I only have a pivot screw on one side. Unless there is one under the clip.

Also, I just saw that my military has a stripped t6 holding the scale on from the factory. Will they send me another screw?

Yes it's under the clip, but just tighten the screws just above the pivot just a little and the play will be gone.
