CFK Gratch and T90

Congrats on those scores.
I for sure woulda snatched a Gratch had I known sooner.
Would be buying a T90 right now if I hadn't already blown my Black Friday load on a pretty good deal on a ZT0630 >_>

They're not making any more next year.

So, no more produced in 2016? Do they make their knives in batches or limited runs? I can see producing them in batches, but a whole year seems like a long time. Doesn't really matter to me, mine is on the way...lol. I'm just curious.

I believe they only do limited runs and then move onto other models. Sometimes they will do a few versions of each model, but they have some new models in queue and are probably moving on.

Thanks for the reply. That makes scoring the Gratch on sale even better! Did I mention in really looking forward to this one?! [emoji16]

As of yesterday (Sunday) morning, CKF website was showing the Gratch "Out Of Stock."

Both my T90 and Gratch came with sharp blades. I had a couple of minor issues with my T90 and Gratch. After a while the blade would go off center. Both needed blue loctite in the pivot area to fix it and have stayed fixed. The Gratch also had some of the scale screws beneath the CF overlay come loose and I fixed that as well. Did not have these issues with my old ELF and MORRF-2.

Thanks for those tuning tip, RamZar.

Will certainly add those aspects to my arrival inspection.

Actually, I'm hoping CKF has fixed those minor issues since I took delivery of mine in late September 2015.
I saw a pretty recent YouTube video, and the guy said that he had had issues with the pivot screws loosening on some of his CKF knives. The pivot screw on his Gratch did have Locktite on it, so maybe they have fixed that issue.

I just got the confirmation of shipping yesterday so when I get them in I'll post some pics and a NIB review and then follow up a little later to see if I have any of the issues listed above. Don't know which one I'll keep yet but I'm sure once I have them in hand, one will feel more right

Looks like my shipment got to NY last night. I'm guessing it should be here by Tuesday. I hope the Gratch lives up to my expectations. But from what I've seen, I don't think there will be a problem.

My Gratch arrived the other day. It's the most beautiful tactical knife I've owned so far. I paid $350, which is a lot for me, and for that price it is truly outstanding. The level of craftsmanship and artistry are far above my collection of benchmades, spydercos, cold steels, ZTs, etc., etc. The level of finish is very satisfying but not as perfect as CRK or customs, but I strongly prefer this design to my sold 21 by a long shot.

It's light, carries perfectly, sharp, cuts fruit well, very comfortable, grippy, and ergonomic. The clip works perfectly in jeans and isn't a hotspot, the satin blade finish is perfect and stunning, The carbon fiber is beautiful, the pivot and anodizing is beautiful, the action is perfect, the flipper tab is perfect, the lock up is perfect, the centering is perfect, the subtle marking is beautiful. This is favorite knife purchase of all time so far. Thanks CKF! I'm a happy customer and you're now one of my favorite companies so I'll be keeping up with your new designs.

Your making me want mine even more...lol. Hopefully it shows up this week.

Haha...me too! I've checked the tracking probably 8 times today. It saying it hasn't left NY yet. I'm thinking about driving up there to get it from NC, just kidding. [emoji6]

Well, it came today and I couldn't be happier. The fit and finish are absolutely perfect. It actually is quite sharp and I can see a little lube in the pivot area, so I guess they've been listening to the minor complaints that others have had. I can not find a single thing I dislike about this knife, and I don't think I can say that about many, if any other knives in my collection.
