The Tanker Gray looks GREAT!!! Probably my favorite of the 4 colors I received (with Muddy being runner-up).

Great pics and awesome blades. You bought me some time showing off those tanker and sage ones. Those are the two I'm waiting for. Thank you

Schweet!!!! Congrats!!!!!!

I'm gonna be 'jonesin all weekend now...
Monday can't get here fast enough!!! :pig:

Is the lightest one the grey one? My guess is from heaviest to lightest- brown, tan, black, grey. Humour me.

Thanks guys! They're HUGE!!! Have a couple limbs off my Maple tree that broke off in a recent wind storm that I need to process, so I might try to do that in the next few days.

Let's see, the four in the pic, from lightest to heaviest:

  • 24.2 oz Black
  • 24.4 oz Gray
  • 25.2 oz Muddy
  • 25.5 oz Sage

(Note weight typo in original post. Corrected.)

The Gray is the thinnest coating, the other three colors appear to be about the same thickness. My guess is the weight differences are primarily dependent upon minor grind differences, versus the coatings. I haven't measured them yet.

Couldn't have been further off! Thanks for the pics, they'll help me through the wait

A monster, but weighs only 3oz more than a Fat ASH.

I also went for Tanker Gray. Love muddy, but it doesn't go well with tan handles.

I ordered the muddy for myself and the tanker grey for a friend.... i may need to do a little switcheroo! the tanker grey looks AMAZING! The muddy is pretty awesome too ;)

Actually, Muddy/tan Res-C looks pretty good on these. I'm not a big Muddy coat fan, but because these had tan handles, I took a shot with the Mud... I like 'em. :) But don't get me wrong...got Tanker Grey (my fav coating) also. :D

Congrats, SpyderPhreak!

I reckon the Tan/Tan looks the best in your snaps.... Kind of like flesh tone Bikinis,.... Always warrants a second look!

I ordered Black.... I think that once I knock a bit of the shine off it and it becomes more matte finish.... It will look really good... (Not as good as if they had Black ResC like the BG do tho....)

The sage/tan looks to be at home in a desert setting. Pretty surprised at almost an ounce difference between the 4.
