Hello!
I wanted to second everybody in the thread ( http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum25/HTML/000053.html ) by saying that James is a great guy to do business with. But I started a new thread so that I could make a bigger point about James' new secure email system.
James Mattis has now PGP installed. PGP is the most secure encryption program (originally written for encrypting emails, but can nowadays easily encrypt any files). It's more secure than SSL-servers (and those are quite secure already). It's easy to use - and better yet, it's free. See http://www.pgpi.org for more information about both US and international versions (available for Windows, Mac, UNIX...). It really is the best encryption program. So download it, set it up and ask James to send you his public key and you are ready. On top of the great service we can now also be sure that nobody is 'listening' our emails for cc-numbers.
I recently bought the new Spyderco Calypso Jr. from James Mattis. I used the PGP to encrypt the cc-information and everything seemed to work just fine... except that the knife probably traveled a couple of times around this globe to find me!
It took a long time - I already thought it was lost somewhere inside the postal services - but it arrived today.
Missed my birthday by just one day, but it made today a special day also (no, I don't get knives delivered to me every day like many of you do
). James will definitely get more orders from me.
Hugo.
