Challenge: Carry only one for a month

Challange 2, Day 13

Really loving the CRK Lg Inkosi CF. The S35VN is substantially harder than S30v on the 940-2 when sharpening on spyder fine ceramics. Really loving this knife. Seasons slowed down for me so she hasn't seen much use other than a few hundred feet of 6mil plastic, tape, and cardboard. Really love the hollow grind. Makes most task a breeze. My co-worker was making a sawing motion on some plastic with his stanley utility and I whipped out the CRK and just touched the blade :D

Also Iv been partnering it with the ZT 0450cfzdp. Use the CRK for 95% of task but will use the ZT for precision work and apple/fruit cutting. Also some days I do use the CRK extensively (sometimes chemicals I dont want touching my food) and its nice to have the option of having a fresh/clean edge available if need arises. These two paired together are a pretty amazing combo.

Like Kalan, Im starting to question some of my other knives as well and am starting to think of selling/gifting away some of them that I know will likely never see any more pocket time.

Challenge 2, Day 26

Really loving this CRK. Blade length-weight and size-overall build/strength ratios of the CRK are incredibly impressive. This is one insane tank of a knife @ 4oz. I know I will Never sell this knife and I'm already seeing myself carrying it for the rest of my days here on earth. Other blades are going to find a hell of a challenge to replace this CRK.

Starting to see some wear on the titanium :D

I'v been toting around a new Bark River Aurora LT CPM-3V (58-59rc) for about 2 weeks now as well. Hasn't seen a ton of use yet but am loving it so far. Used it to cut up some pink insulation and it cut through like an xacto. Surprised at how easy it is to touch up to hair shaving sharp on the ceramics as compared to other steel. Wasn't expecting 3V to touch up so easy and take such a keen edge, very pleased.

Pssshhhhh...
Yeah right:D

I've said the same thing many times, and eventually something else snakes itself into my pocket.

Give it time, my friend. Time...

That Higo just might someday :D Also still need to pick up a 940-1 to try out S90V. And once I hit the height of the season next summer, Ill be taking out the 908bk-1501 to put M4 to the test :D Tend to really push my blades during the summer. Very slow right now with the snow coming down lol But Ill definitely never let go of the CRK and I'm sure it will always see pocket time :D

See!?! You're already thinking ahead with a Higo and an S90V 940-1.

I told you!!!

Its for scientific purposes only I swear! :D

Got to test out the steels :D Honestly I feel Im going to really enjoy the S90V on the 940 and will probably be on rotation with the Inkosi frequently. I was dead set on the YXR7 before but Im falling in love with the zdp on my 0450. Though that dlc finish on the YXR7 is pretty irresistible. That's going to be a tough call. Little voice in my head says "why not both :D" lol

Last day of the challenge. It's been fun and I've gained more apprication for the knife. It's handled everything I've thrown at it. An awesome lightweight edc.

Challenge 2, Day 34

A few days over the end :D

Overall the Lg Inkosi CF has become my favorite edc. Super light, Superb quality, Amazing attention to detail, Perfect execution in every aspect imo.

Looking ever better with some age :D

Also loving the BRK Aurora LT 3v. Awesome blade profile/geometry for edc farm task in a tough steel.

I will continue to carry the Inkosi until I get a 940-1 sometime after christmas shopping is complete. Cant wait to put S90V to the test :D

I have been carrying this everyday for almost a year....I thought that was impossible....
