CHALLENGE: Sell me on Busse.

You can buy one that you like the handle of (material and color) and send it out for a regrind.

I have seen them warranty a knife that was shot at Multiple times.
They fulfilled the warranty After they found the video of the guy shooting it on Youtube. They didn't say that they wouldn't continue to warranty the knife, but sent back a snarky letter stating that she (the knife) didn't like being tickled and would appreciate it if he just went back to batonning her like a good girl.

That is paraphrasing, but I am not off by much. I would be willing to bet that if the work was done seemingly professionally (like Josh from Razor Edge Knives), they would still cover it.

Is that actually true ? I remember the ad that busses took out with the note in it ,but IIRC that was before the YouTube days ??

Judging by your other blades, The ergo Public defender would suite you well I think.. overall length is just 9", would be easy to carry around for any number of tasks!
its INFI.. we all know how stain resistant it is but if you haven't owned an INFI knife before..its AWESOME how quickly and easily you can get it shaving sharp after hard use.. great when your out an about!
they also offered a coated sr101 battle grade for less $

The most compelling reason to buy Busses is that I heard you get a free Personal Pan Pizza when you buy one :) Plus the enjoyment of owning one.
