I wish a custom maker would tackle a 4.25" blade tactical folder, titanium liners and bolsters, Micarta scales, titanium backspring/lockback with a pocket clip.

With all due respect to the custom makers I really think lockbacks are more technical to get right and involve a lot more time to make than liner locks or frame locks which means it wil be a long time coming until I get my wish (or until I just start making them myself).

More knives with clips that can be interchanged between all 4 possible positions (a la the Chinook II).

Design your own SAK, eh? Ok, I'll play. I want a large SAK, similar in size and style to a Victorinox Rucksack. Here's what I want changed:

Main spearpoint blade and smaller warncliffe-like blade out of BG42 or VG10. The saw can be out of the same material as the standard Victorinox saw.

Liners being thicker, and made of titanium.

Handle scales to be dark maroon linen micarta instead of the cheapo plastic.

All tools and blades being heavier duty, and all have locks.

This sounds like a winner to me. In fact, I'll just bet that our good buddy A.G. Russell could and would make up a batch of these!
