I have recently become aware of the knives of Charles May, and something about them pushes my buttons. Maybe it's because I love Busses and the blade shapes are Busse-like, but in general thinner.

Can someone give me feedback on dealing with Charles May? I ran a GB&U search and got nothing.
 
Charlie May is a terrific guy. He is one of THE nicest people you will ever talk to. His knives are incredible. I own 3 of his knives, and just love them.
 
I have several Charles May knives including the largest one and smallest one he has made. Talk to him about any particulars. Hs is a hunter and uses his own knives. I recommend his work.

Ditto above comments, you will love your Fire Ant...if you get one! Mr May is a great knife maker who uses what he makes.
 
You didn't find anything in your search because there's no complaints. Have no fear; he's a solid guy.

She may not know it, but T.K.C. introduced me to Charles May. I've handled 3 now, though I haven't (yet) bought one. Excellent designs with outstanding fit and finish. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one ... the time just has to be right.

I'd say you're on safe ground.
 
I bought a Refuge from him a few years back. The fit and finish on his blades are as good as any I have seen. He's a nice a fellow as you will ever talk to as well. Very nice sheaths with his knives.

I highly recommend him Mike:thumbup:
