The long pull is longer also. It cuts into the tang slightly on that later run.

Are you aware of the reason for the change? Maybe to use tooling that's common to other patterns like the 54?

thats right paul it can use a little shining up! i have a feeling that might be his user of the bunch

I ask Bill to do some slight variations, to help differentiate the runs over the years. I also prefer wider pulls. They are easier to access, and more sculptural IMO.
