I got my 6 year old son a smallfly trainer about a year ago and along the way we lost a pivot screw.

I emailed Spyderco support in hopes of obtaining a replacement screw. Charlynn responded quickly and arranged the replacement with no hassles at all.

I got not only the screw but an additional screw, two pivots, 4 washers AND a spring for the latch.

Spyderco has some great people working for them! This is good old American style customer service and I really appreciate it.

I really hope Spyderco comes out with a full sized version of the smallfly.
 
they did in 08 called the spyderfly, then also the szabofly in a collab with lacy szabo both sadly discontinued due to legal issues
 
ah gotcha yeah that would be nice, of course you could always try to find a custom maker and have them try to make new handles for your spyderfly, or you could make them yourself
