Sup yall! Learned tonight that if I want to do a clean multigrind, I may find 1" wide belts an easier time. These 2" belts are making it difficult!

Yo!

New mobile device is in and almost everything back up and running.

Will check back later.

Peace

Damned family friendly rules and whatnot, to heck with all of yous fools!!! :p

You never realize how many things you have in your bookmarks folder until you have to replace all of them, grrr.

Well, one good thing about being without a phone for half a week, I could focus on getting things together for my hunting trip coming up. I'll be leaving bright and early Sunday morning headed north, then turning right at the last moment for Nevada. Once we cross the state line we are in our hunt zone.

Got my rifle back into its old stock and finally got the scope bore sighted. Didnt get a chance to shoot it ad really dial it in, but it should be close enough for some coyotes right now. Will put it on paper first chance I ge.

Daniel, what's this about trailing points I hear?!?! Show me a design and I might just send you some über gnarly popcorn stag for a handle! Full round, of course! I have some stashed away I've been meaning to use.

Right now I just have speed goats on the mind, can't wait to get out to the high desert and chase the second fastest land animal on earth! A good amount of my photo gear is coming along as well, I fully anticipate shooting pix more than guns.

Anyways kids, my workday is winding down and I'm gtting ready to head home and get me some grub.

Hey Farchyld, are you using a 2x72? If so do you have any problems with the 1" belts coming off the drive wheel?

Hi Wilson.
Go get 'em Xander!

I should get a photo of how I stand. I'm tall, the 2x72 sits low, so I sorta... straddle. It's pretty funny to observe I imagine :D

Maybe I should just use bigger blades. Also, I haven't tried a 1" belt. I wasn't sure how well they'd work on the Grizzly.

Hey IMWILSON!

Xander I'll have to show you, there are a few ways the design could go. Popcorn Stag - :D

You can buy or even better make 1" belts... USAKM sells a belt splitter but I just split the metal lap joint with a knife and carefully tear them in half. I don't use them for tough grinds but more to get into tight spots, I only use one as a slack belt.

Some of the guys known for compound grinds use a 1" wide hollow wheel, I want to try one.

Farchyld raise that grinder! You want the wheel or platen center at your elbows. It will help a lot. Cheap shelving is nice for risers.

A 1" belt should track well, if not wrap a strip or two of electrical tap around the center crown of your drive wheel. That will help with tracking and wear.

Yo squatchlings!

On my walk home from work, brown baggin a SN Torpedo 24oz. Got a custom hunter on my hip, a gun rights shirt on and am fully expecting to hassled by the grumpy old guy watering his lawn.

Gotta love suburbia.

FRiday night WOOOO HOOO ! wait ,I don't get weekends off .......
Have a great week end y'all!
Xander , watch out for the squirt nozzle. I hear he has a deadly aim :D

Kev, its the same ol' grumpy bastid who almost ran me over while doing a finnish flick into his driveway a couple months back. He's a grumpy old fart. He wears a head lamp to take his trash out, lol! His house is 9 feet from the sidewalk. I think its because he's a frenchie, he even took his house numbers down and put up a sign with it spelled out in french! Our mailman barely speaks english, and I doubt he even remotely knows what french language is!

This guy is an elitist prick. I'm tempted to get the frozen hotdogs and oatmeal out to trash his lawn......I won't, but it sounds like such fun! Maybe I'll just pull a sprinkler head and dump a botte of dawn dish soap in there, bubble sprinklers!

Ahh, enough booze talk and time to get some chow. Chicken molé tonight. Hardly worth it after having imported prociuto on fresh focaccia bread with local peppers for lunch. But, it'll do.
