It's already 75° and only 9:30.

Make sure the outdoor pets have plenty of water and shade people, it's getting warm out!

It was like, 50 when I got to the truck this morning. Forecast is maybe a high of 70 and some rain. By Friday they're calling for 100% chance of rain. I do not envy those triple digits!

That's true Lycosa... :D We have been busy with all of that!


I'm also getting out a huge knife order and a bunch more knives right after that. I did the pre-sale on Backpackers and am still playing catch-up on them. :cool:

I really should get some pics of all this... yesterday I had my entire kitchen table covered with knives I am doing final touches on. I have been working in batches but when it comes to folders the finishing and assembly is done individually and it is taking me a while. Today I am finished with a bunch and waiting on more hardware for the rest.

I must have about 100 knives profiled and started.

I'm only working on stuff that needs to go out and after those I'm back to only folders!

I have been calling around about a bigger shop location... doing the pre-order was a big wake up call with over a knife a day selling. I need to step things up.

I made a list yesterday, I have almost two dozen designs I want to release. About half are new. I need employees to do the basic stuff like blasting, cutting out scales, shortening screws, etc. It's a big step but I think it will happen.

I have spent the last three days mostly working on hardware... shortening screws, blasting or finishing screws, making screw holding jigs... makes for boring pics! I'd rather be grinding.

But yeah... I know I can make it happen!
 
If you need some grunt work done, I don't mind lending a hand. I have a buncha gear now!

That is very cool! With mailing I could go national, shop wise. :D


You know I was a Chef for a long time before I made knives. I'd have the orders coming in on a point of sales system and would be yelling them out at you. Farchyld... I need three Pocket Fighters, 2 Backpackers and a side of Keychain Tools... (Bobby) Yes Grinder Dude! That will be about 5 days... :D (me) Well don't take all week on them! What's the temp on the heat treat oven? :p :D :D :D

It's gonna be hot today, it was 73° at 8 am today :eek:


Fixing bikes this morning. Making a bit of extra cash. It's all bottom bracket issues today.
