Speaking of Kozukas and Kogotanas I sure wish I had more time to work... like 23 hours a day.
I want to get a casting slab setup for making my own alloys like Shibuichi. Also if I ever get a chance I am making a Kogotana that is part of a box/art piece so it will be hidden in plain view.

Kevin I thought that was a Fire Agate at first... wild! My Ferric isn't very sealed up, interesting it can do that!
lol I watch Toxic Avenger from time to time, the Troma movies are a favorite. Toxic Avenger is probably my top but Surf Nazis Must Die rules... Class of Nuke 'em High, Sgt Kabukiman, Poultrygeist, lol they are all pretty good.
Rolf I do agree... I keep trying here too. Some make it, some don't. Just be sure to make more! One trick with grinding is to try to get everything straightened up around 80-120 grit, things get "blurred" if you try to clean up things as you go.
I think any aspiring maker should buy Wally Hayes "Home Workshop Knifemaking" He shows how to use a 1x30 grinder to rough a knife out then clean it up with a file and paper. He makes a chisel ground Tanto! The video really shows how little you need to make a nice knife.
