"Cheaper Than Dirt" Rough use knife

If there was ever a knife that made a better prybar this still wouldn't be it.

Maybe this would be good for the guy who needs a knife to cut lilys or whatever it was.

Looks like chinese/pakistani junk. Save your money and buy a ka-bar. Hell, $10 bucks can buy you a decent machete.

The reviews are really funny..IMO.:D

I would not buy a 11.00 knife and expect te get more than a 11.00 knife.

I agree that this sounds like more "Chinese junk," but then I thought about the Mora knives and how good they are for only about ten bucks. Wouldn't it be nice if businesses would tell you in their product descriptions where an item is made? Anytime I see one that says "imported" I assume it's Chinese, but that's not always the case. A little more truth in advertising would certainly be welcome.

It is a chinese copy of the chinese made Smith and Wesson Search and Rescue spear point knife. The S&W knife is ok for the price. I wouldnt recommend buying the knife you have posted.

Ashtxsniper,

I just noticed something on the sniper picture above from "Saving Private Ryan". He is shooting a right handed rifle left handed... looking through the scope with his right eye. Am I wrong?

It's a piece of sharp metal. With a rubber handle. What could possibly be bad about it? I think paying $100+ for a piece of sharp metal is absurd, but I'm no expert. I know the local sporting goods store sells knives for around that price, and I know that some $100+ knives break during combat. (Not all $100+ knives are bad, though...I was happy with my $70 kershaw for a while, although now I use my free homemade fixed blade knives) Although the term "you get what you pay for" is usually true, knives are just sharp pieces of metal, and therefore you can possibly get a quality knife for cheap. It's not like it's one of those $.99 microprocessors that they sell these days called "ethernet cards", with all that complicated circuitry and wiring. It's just a pointy piece of metal.

You are correct watch the movie and you will see him shoot left handed but manipulate the bolt with his right hand.
At the bottom of the picture is the S&W knife that has been copied and sold by CTD. The S&W knives are worth the money and come wih a diamond sharpening stone.

Yep, one can be left handed but still be right eye dominate.

And here is how you can test your eye dominance. Very important to know if one shoots. However, for fast combat pistol shooting, I keep both eyes open:

If you watch the movie I believe he shoots with his left eye it is just the pic makes it look like he is right eye dominant.

Yeah, I am a right handed shooter that is left eye dominate. It doesn't matter if you are only going to shoot a few rounds but after about 20 rounds my right eye will not stay open as I close the dominate one. I have to stop shooting for about 20 minutes before I can begin again.

The knife is utter garbage, and a knock off- don't waste your money.

Stick around,
Eventually you will learn something about knives. . . probably.
