Cheaper than Dirt

I ordered a cold steel ak-47 and some pepper spray from them. The package was delivered by UPS to the mail box room of my appartment and left on the ground where someone promptly removed all the contents of the box before I came home. I think this is more UPS's fault. When I contacted CTD, they said that once it was delivered, it was theft on my property in the same way it would be if they had come into my appartment to take the items. In short nothing could be done from their end and they told me to contact UPS, but added that UPS would claim the same thing, so my best bet was to call the manager and get the local athorities involved. I don't have time to make my life that complicated. I did contact UPS, but they're still investigating and I'm just the guy who got screwed. I don't think the philadelphia PD would give a crap about my problem and would probably give me at least an evil eye for ordering a knife.
 
I've bought stuff from them a few times with no problems. (What happened to generallobster is a bummer, but the dealer isn't responsible, maybe UPS if that wasn't where they were supposed to have left it).
 
Ordered a Serpa holster from them, took about 4 days to hit my door. And yes, UPS is known for dropping and leaving. Irritates the hell out of me :mad:.
 
I've bought a couple of MOLLE pouches from them that I used making up first aid and gear bags. Decent quality, good prices, no complaints.
 
They deliver but I feel that their shipping/handling charges are freakin' OUTRAGEOUS! :mad:

They make up whatever 'discount' you get with that......
