Has anybody used them to purchase a knife. Opinions?

Alternatively, you could simply search that forum for threads whose titles contain the word "dirt".
You'll find several on "cheaper than dirt".

Theyre great. I buy a LOT of ammo from them... every time it's been shipped fast and packed well. Got in a shipment of over 3000 rounds of x39 from them and the whole transaction went perfectly.

I've never ordered anything from the site. I have bought stuff from the store before though. They're good people. If I wasn't so close to the store, I'd have no hesitation ordering from the site.

I used to order stuff from them without any problems. I know others who purchase magazines and ammo from them without any hitch either. Bought a few knives from them, and while they were lower-end knives, I wasn't ripped-off or anything.
