I'm looking for the cheapest possible place to get knives online (and don't say ebay) so far i think bladehq is cheapest but if you guys know of any websites that sell for even cheaper that would be great.

OUCH sh-t man the shipping is f-cking insane, pardon my french but $50 just to ship to canada, damn that almost completely closes the gap on the money you save!

Depends on what value of knives you're looking at. Lower priced ones are best purchased on Amazon most of the time from my experience simply because of the competitive (and usually lowest) net prices and free shipping on most $25+ orders. People tend to ignore shipping and not consider it into the price of the knives they buy but in reality it counts and makes a real difference. I've also never received a bad or damaged order from them. Ebay is very hit or miss. If you know a seller, you'll probably be ok with them but outside of that, you're taking a huge risk.

well for me shipping is a very big deal because when i put my order through on a site its almost always $100 or more and if i only have $125 to spend for the month and shipping puts me up to $150 I'm boned, I SHALL NOT GIVE UP MY ORDER I WILL SOONER GO BANKRUPT

Then Amazon will probably be a great choice for you. Good prices and from doing a quick browse on the Canadian site, the shipping costs seem manageable. I'd also keep an eye out on here in the Knife Exchange. Might find a fellow Canadian who can sell to you at a lower cost than for most of us.

Keep the language family friendly folks. There will be no further requests or warnings on the matter.

Every site is cheaper on some items and more expensive on others.

What exactly are you looking for?

For Kershaws, Kershawguy can't be beat ;) Check out the dealer section, it should point you in the right direction. But it helps to know what you're looking for in the first place.

Deal spotting is starting a topic to announce some great deal you saw somewhere, no?
Seems OK to me to ask for a dealer recommendation in the Feedback forum.

The OP needs to chill though. Calm down, post in the correct area, watch their language, and be more specific with their dealer requirements.
Dude, nowhere in your first post did you mention you're from Canada, then you throw a fit because a highly respected dealer has a high cost to ship to Canada.

I suspect the OP is a young person, more accustomed to in-game chat than online forum conversations.

ok my bad. I was just asking. if he is from Canada then he has a major problem with buying knifes. I use to ship switchblades up there then one day I got a email asking me if I knew that they where not allow them in there country. I said no I didn't but thanks and I refuse to ship anything there. he must be very young.

Shipping is expensive today, and one must accept it. When I look at prices I always factor in a surcharge for the shipping and taxes. I just hope it does not double the retail price of the knife. As an example if I am buying a knife from the United States for $229.00 I round up the total price to expect $300.00 + or - a few dollars.

Just like Bufford said, that is about right.
Sometimes the Canadian dealer prices seem high, but when you factor in shipping, it's not such a bad deal.
Having said that, there are a few U.S. Dealers that are very reasonable when it comes to shipping .You just have to check the policies on their web page.
P.S. Word of advice to OP, 'please' and 'thank you' go a long way around here.
Cheers

Looks like I really don't belong in these forums, I signed up so intelligent people who didn't think collecting knives was something to be looked down upon, yes I am young 16 to be exact and I haven't done anything right since I've been on here. I got my answers and I thank you for that, but it looks like I don't belong here. I'll go back to playing my online games now and I wont poison this forum anymore...

That makes no sense. You came in dropping vulgarity without bothering to check to see what the rules were. A common mistake made by several. No one has run you off, but simply asked you to watch your step. I'm amazed at the level of butt hurt lately, the threshold is getting mighty low.

I'm just at the end of my rope sick of being called a freak by my family because I collect knives, so I am constantly pissed off nothing I can do about it except stay alone.

Sorry to hear that is the case. My advice is to focus on your future. Don't worry about what your family thinks of you, it's none of your business anyway. Be responsible, prepare for your future as no one else can or will do it for you. I say this from personal experience.

RedDevil has had words with me about some of my posting in the past. yes at some of his saying I was mad but the others I listen to him. He is not trying to start with anyone. all he is trying to do is fix the wording on what you are saying because some people have there young children on these forms to help them learn and they don't need to learn to talk like that. I respect him and I am glad he is here too. he tries to help everyone one that I can see. being in Canada is rough but it is your laws we are trying to obey. I use to ship switchblade to your country until I found out they where not allowed. boy did I stop that in a hurry. I try not to break any laws. I wish you luck. there is a heck of lot of good people and dealers here on this board. please don't cut off your nose In spite of your tongue.
