Cheapskates: what are you eyeing for 2023?

My 2023 focus is in on budget 5th picket knives, think Maileah, bany banter, etc.. The new Bestech Bihai is simply amazing for the price. Also looking at cheap hard use folders. Just got a CRKT Trask with the deadbolt, once you figure out adjusting pivot vs detent, it is rock solid. Also picked up Cold Steel Engage 2.5”, that one is super smooth and feels solid in use. I am watching the Volstead line, but haven’t pulled the trigger on anything yet.

Wanted to try Bucks 420hc and wanted another folder so will be purchasing a 110 Lt hunter (don't want the heft of a traditional 110), can be had quite cheaply even over here in the UK.
I always carry a Buck 110 LT everyday. Reliable, cheap, durable and well made. it’s a good knife, especially for the price.

This is my new favorite truly cheap knife. Surprisingly well made with 8cr blade and a full 7 oz of metal making it my best "farm knife" for hacking small branches, cutting deer netting, packages and such. Since I'm also too cheap to afford the automatic picture posting that comes with a paid subscription, you can see the knife at this address. Oh....did I forget to say, it was selling for $8.99!

So, are all the other cheapskates also David Mary fans...?

I am planning to get a Skrama 200 or 240 to use mostly for kindling and trimming branches on dead spruce prior to bucking. I think for the quality, the prices are inexpensive comparatively.

Keeping my eyes open on e-Bay for some high-end bargain to show up from a TSA confication (I wish!)
If in Paris Orly, you might find the Victorinox Winemaster I bought at the Matterhorn visitor center in Zermatt, Switzerland. (nice little souvenir of that part of the trip) The door security at the airport entrance went through both my checked and carry on bags, but then put the Winemaster into the carryon instead of back into the checked bag. Of course, security going to the gate then found it and kept it.:mad:😭

I hope Hanlon's Razor applies. 🤣

The Camper I carry daily was bought used for $19. Prolly a confiscation, like new except for a few minor wear on the scales. I love it.
