Check out the new Delica/Endura w/ pics

They look okay but nothing special, IMHO.

I'm still waiting for that double serrated edge job!

Looks good. The handles look rounder and more comfortable, and most importantly, the pocket clips are 4 position and won't torque out like the current ones can and do.

Nothing particularily groundbreaking (the Delica/Endura are 15 years past that point), but rather a refinement of one of the best selling and most influential knives ever made.

Out of curiosity, does the new ZDP-189 Delica use the old handles or the new?

Nice. I think I prefer the older point profile. But I like the new handle
Is that a removable pivot I see? Can it be taken apart for cleaning, etc??

Same here, I think I like the old point profile better. The old handle never gave me problems, so I'd have to actually handle the new one to know if it's better for me.

I like the changes except for the new profile of the point. I like pointy points. On the other hand, a lot of people reported breaking the tips off their Enduras/Delicas.

I see it as a direct response to customer comments. Which leads to another "point" -- Sal Glesser asked for comments on the BF Spyderco forum, and I presume the official Spyderco forum, when the new design was being thought out. He actually listened to end users like us. Pretty cool IMO.

I like the looks of the Endura. Especially the handle. I just hope that the blade is still 1/8" thick.

I really like everything, including the new blade profile, except that the SS handle version does not have an adjustable pivot. The FRN does, and with steel liners I think that may be the way I go with my new SE Endura.

My thoughts exactly. Where's the needle-sharp tip? ...and is that an adjustable pivot, on a Delica/Endura???

Sweet, I want one.

Peace.

I think I just wet myself  . Damn I cant wait for the enduras. Thank you Sal, your awesome. P.S. anyone know what the prices will be for both versions of the Endura??.

Pros:
- VG-10 in the steel-handled version
- FRN model can be disassembled
- serrated thumb ramp

Con:
- the old blade shape was better

All things considered, seems like I'm gonna get either a FRN or steel Delica.

I like the looks of the FRN model. I wonder if they will have ZDP as an option.
