My mother has a house in Darbonne Hills, and I agree about The Backpacker (Prices seemed very high, and help was hard to find)
 
I picked up a pair of the black and khaki mobile pants at a local department store tonight. They only carried the two colors. They were on sale for $34.99 each.

I am very impressed with them so far. There are a total of seven pockets. The right front pocket is deep and has a zip pocket incorporated in it. The left front pocket is of standard size. There are two smaller zip pockets on both seams just below the front pockets. The rear pockets are of standard configuration. This leaves many options as to what I can carry in them.

My Nokia 8260 phone fits perfectly in the lower zipper pocket on the right side. I can carry my Crawford KFF in the right front pocket. My Palm Vx will go in my left front pocket. I'll use the left zip pocket for my Deep Pocket wallet.

I still haven't decided what to put in the right front zip pocket. I may put my Spyderco CF cricket in there. I thought about putting my RIM pager in the pants, but I think I'll continue to carry it in its holster.

Unfortunately, the store didn't have them in my size so I'll need to have them altered first. I can't wait to start wearing them.

glad you found some. I found some at a department store the other night and tried them on. I am impressed with the design and the pockets are easy to access but unfortunately I just don't like the way Dockers fit! Oh well.............

What Department Store chain? I've tried a couple local ones that carry Dockers, but have yet to find the "Mobile" pants.
