Chemo didnt work, heading home......

Sorry to hear about your sadness. I hope that all goes as well as possible. Nothing can be more difficult than the pain of a loved one. I also want to thank you and say how impressive is the fine quality of the work you are doing at this time.
Thanks and I wish you and yours the best
Michael

We're heading out in the morning, Lordy give me strength!

Part for the visit and part for the trip! ;)

Dwayne. just got back from a quick trip and found out.

Your family is in the thought of my wife and myself.

Take care,
Chris

Dwayne, I went through this same thing a year and a half ago with my father. It is a hard battle thattakes the whole family to help eachother through. The most important thing is to just be there when he needs you.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I hope your father can catch a break and make some progress. Good Luck

LM: Sorry to hear all this bro. Lots of smoke and prayers on the way from So. CA. Let me know if there is anything I can do. Really. :)

I'm sorry to hear this. My prayers are with you. I know what you are going through. :(

My brother in law is trying to get well after a liver transplant on July 2. He's doing a lot better but it's a long road. Another nephew who is 18 now also has liver cancer. He is under going chemo by direct injection into the liver. He has a few more treatments and a lot more prayers to go before he will be well enough to hopefully get a new liver!

18 and liver cancer, oh my, I cannot even begin to imagine what the family is going though. Children should be imune to such things, its just wrong on so many levells. :(

So far so good on the visit, things are in limbo right now on the next diagnosis, could be six months or five years depending on how this new treatment progresses. Talk about sitting on pins and needles.

On the humorous front, they thought I was bringing the truck (We brought the Scion mini car), anyone know how to stuff 20 cubic feet of stuff into a 10 cubic foot area???? Wonder if I can stuff the daughter in the passenger foot well? :p Glad we didnt bring the dog/horse!

Two words, roof rack.

Maybe the best thing to do would be to make a second trip at another date.

Which x car do you have?

The things are poping up all over the place.

Two words, roof rack...

Two MORE words... Duct tape :D I "borrowed this off of one of KAAK's posts elsewhere... Just for humor.

I think I'd go with Gorilla tape. It seems to be a little bit stronger, and may hold up better in the wind.

dwayne, stump....

i'm drunk 2nite, but not 2 drink to say another prayer and send special smoke your way...

five years ago my son of 19 went through cancer, it's a crappy deal,

my prayers are with you, good luck bro's.

Very sorry to hear this, Scott. :(

There's really nothing I can say that will ever make THAT go away.

Still...smoke and prayers going up from Virginia and headed Idaho way...

yup. I'm thinking the "come back soon" idea is a good one, got to get the ol truck a facelift and boob job first. ;) She's feeling neglected. :foot:

We have an 06 xA, post hail sale deal, got a sweet price on it with the added benefit that I have a car with INFI dimples! :D
