Chinese Kershaw Quality?

Have carried my cryo since seeding has started to beat on it. It has cut alot of different materials. It is still rock solid and easy to touch up. Pictures mAybe later. One of the greatest budget knives out there IMO.

I have to agree with what others have said about the Tremor. I've had $100 knives that were not as good as the Tremor.

I've had the Half Ton for awhile. Just got a 3/4 Ton last week, and it's a perfect happy medium between the Half Ton and the One Ton at about the same price as the Half. Check it out if you get a chance.

I love my 1920, though I've gone through it seems like the lock bar wears out. When I first got it, it locked up so early that it would sometimes defeat. Now, about 6 months later, I'm at about 40% lockup.

I've had a couple (and still do) they're great quality.

I was reading through this thread and I noticed that my original post was kinda vague (and I have allot of time on my hands) so let me elaborate, I used a volt II for almost two years off and on, and it didn't break, *if your sensitive to knife abuse stop reading* cut wires, batoned, practiced sharpeing, maybe I even pried a little, allong with several other things a knife shouldn't have to got through...and finally the torsion bar gave out and I retired it (I need to pick up a SS volt II) $20 well spent if I do say so myself:D

long term

i expect china steel too be like jap steel in the 70's ever, well u got be old, or toyota celica rust bucket? see a civic with its front quarters flapping like wings in the late 70's?

i agree kershaw will make your right and yes, i will have 2 dawgs small and large. regardless but i still too usa stuff and jap stuff. KAI makes good steel! So does crucible, mittle and the others.

but stick too jap or usa knives IMHO. i broke in 3 kersaw knives last night in 1 hour = 560CBCF, 550blk and lenar v10 - wow do they rock!

true 30 year kersaw junkie! this set rocks: the blue tiger is for my daugher and black is for my son they get at the next camp out.

I actually have the ss volt II and i can say it's a GREAT knife. shaving sharp out of the box, great ergos, solid frame lock, and the speed safe is excellent. top quality knife, funny this is, is that i got for less than $20. An absolute steal if you ask me..

I have owned a couple foreign made Kai flippers in the past. They performed up to expectation and honestly I never had a problem with one for normal use. The difference in my experience was that the cheaper knives had cheaper feeling handles etc. but their blades stated sharp and were easy to sharpen.

A steal is right...I had the plastic handled version, the ss is something I want to get:)

I have the Crown and for $15 it can't be beat. The F&F is amazing and it came out of the box razor sharp.
