Choose Wisely (One Knife)

This is an impossible question to answer. A small knife can't do what the big knife can do. And a big knife can't do what a small knife can do. Do I still get my wish from a genie.?

Green beer? You're two weeks early.
Doesn’t look green to me. Looks like tasty beer here. You do know monitors differ, correct? Might want to tone down the G on your RGB settings.

As for one knife forever, might have to be this one. Sure it might freak some people out when I whip her out to open an Amazon package, but f*ck em. If I get one knife forever, might as well be a cool one.

BTW, the cutting board’s orange. Not pink or whatever you’re seeing.😤

I like your style!

I’d also go big, but I’d have to go with a folder:

It seems impossible to me as well, but mostly because I live in an urban environment. There’s no way I could comfortably carry a fixed-blade out in the world, nor could I easily clear bramble in our little greenbelt with a pocket folder. Hard to put my finger on the perfect compromise in this day and age when we’re both spoiled for choice while also constrained by legalities.

Why are you even bothering us, asking for our opinion??

You clearly stated in a previous post of yours - "I learned a couple of years ago that there is very little working knife appreciation here, I think most people here are collectors and weekend warriors."

Clearly, us "weekend warriors" can offer nothing substantial to this discussion.

Give him a chance, he's trying to play nice.
