friday evening, i had the pleasure of meeting up with some other local BF folks, San Jose CA.. we met up over at Ban's shop... it was too much fun...

first off let me start by saying, that i have never had any kind of experience what so ever, with any kind of BUSSE or INFI steel knife in my life... these dudes are devoted to that stuff...

we chopped all sorts of stuff... it was a blast... 2 x 4's, rope, acacia sapplings, boxes and water bottles... and anything else we could find...

the vast majority of the BUSSE, SCRAPYARD, SWAMP RAT and INFI steel knives that were there, were all modded by Ban in some way shape or form...the dude can put a mean convex edge on a knife.... i was truly amazed..

i don't know all the names of these knives, but they all got beat to heck and performed very well... i had the most fun with that BUSSE AK sword at the top of the pic.. that thing rocks... i want one soooo bad... Ban removed the coating and gave it a crazy sharp convex edge...

here's a few shots of nate a.k.a. NORCALBLACKTAIL... nate is a great guy.. it was good to finally meet him... he is a fast and highly efficient chopper..

more to come...

good stuff ... looks like you guys were inflicting some serious damage with those blades

and now for some water bottle's... this was my favorite...

Ban's convex edge on the AK, cut through these things like butter... it was amazing..

here is our very own MR.PINK... this dude is really cool...

i was trying to cut just the tops off.. it was pretty darn hard... i cut half the cap on the 3rd from the last.... all the water stayed in the bottles too, it was wild..
IMG_3222.jpg

i also got a chance to test out Ban's prtotype BT6.. this knife is made from 3V steel.. this is an awesome lightweight camp blade.. it was rediculously lightweight for a 6 in. blade.. the edge, of course was insanely sharp...

i have a bunch more pics.. but these were some of the best shots... i can't wait for the next meet up...

MR.pink also posted his pics over on the srcapyard knife forum.. check them out.. he took some cool shots...

Damn Mike, that looked like a heeluva fun time!

Cool pics.

So you gonna trade some of your customs in or a Busse or two:eek:

Great pictures! Love that Busse sword!!! Looks like you guys had a blast...it's always great to to meet others and play with knives:D

ROCK6

HAHAHA! That looks BADASS!!!!

Dude, I want one of those AKs too. I just am havin trouble with the price tag.

Looks ike a freakin blast. That BT6 is sweet. I have a BT4 on order, and Ban did the edge on my 3/16 JK keppy, you are right, he does sick stuff with steel!!

So bro.....You got the INFI bug yet? I cant believe you dont have a game warden. Those things are awesome, you would dig em.

Looks fun.

How did I miss out on this? Make sure to let me know, next time.

(That reminds me.., I should contact Jerry about my sword....)

What is that khuk Boomer is holding?

If you hate the price tag on the AK you should look into a Himalayan Imports Tarwar. With a good edge they would be just as fun...and about $1000 cheaper.

Awesome pics Mike, thanks...man..that sword was sharp, huh?

The Khuk was a Tora Crescent Moon. My bedside blade :D

Those are are really cool shots. I can't help but think everyone of us would have been glad to be there. Mike that battle mistress is bigger then your forearms!!!! That AK47 looks absolutely thrilling. There is just no way in hell I could convince my wife that is 'another one' for the kitchen though

(he he he - I completely got away with calliing my new Breeden peacemaker a kitchen knife, it does sit in the kitchen block well and is used for heavy tasks when its not in the bush).
