Very Nice Claudio!

If I may since this is already sold.... Claudio does some amazing Laminated steel work (SanMai). He takes 2 pieces of Stainless Steel and puts 1 piece of Carbon steel between them and forge welds them (More complicated that that). When you grind the bevels in you take off the stainless steel and end up with a Carbon steel cutting edge. The carbon takes an etch and turns black the stainless stays bright. Only a few makers get results like this! Hamon's are created within the same steel on the entire blade.

When the blade gets used the oxides wear off and the Black will fade a little but you will always be able to see a difference between the two steel types.
