Chopping 2x4 with thin edge geometry

Take II of preliminary/pilot chopping 2x4 with 6.5dps edge. Chopped through 3 times.

If current sequencing - MS TF0_SBF1_3DTG15 - finished and produced proper result, I will use a 7" s125v 67rc (so far) blade to take this test. Also preparing 4 chopper blades (s125v, s90v, cpm154, m98) for next sequencing MS TF0_SBF1_3DTG23.

What do you do with all of the steel after you turn them into steel cake slices. I've watched most of your testing videos and you have so many haha.

Wow, your efforts and expense are appreciated for the test results. I actually switched over my blade steel to 26C3 after hearing you say how strong and tough it is.

CPM S125V 67.5rc, 6.5DPS Edge sharpened with edgepro, apexed and deburred at 600 grit diamond plate and a few stropped with diamond loaded leather.

Objective: Test research experiment and measure very thin edge capability of chopping 2x4, where afterward edge would still slowly slice phonebook paper.

Result: Passed.

S125v is not exactly a tough steel..... 67.5 RC is the exact opposite of toughness.... it's amazing that you're getting deformation not fracture at such a thin profile.
