The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
The blade profiles and ergonomics are the big differences between the two. Although the Chopweiler is more comfortable in the various grips, my vote goes for the Ratweiler! The handle is so unique, its hard not to like it (even if the ergos are a little uncomfortable when choking up on the blade). I have always loved a bowie profile too, and combined with a .25'' thick saber ground piece of differential SR-101, the Ratweiler is the quintessential survival knife IMHO! I am a lucky man to have one or two![]()
I just hold one in each hand makes life easier. LOL
Now that they have taken orders for the Ratweiler, I truly hope the Swamp decides to make another run of Chopweilers available sometime in the near future.
