Chosera vs Shapton

EP stones might be good but I highly doubt they are Naniwa and Shapton good. There is a difference and it is something you will notice.

There are also diamond plates cut for the EP, just look around.

Well, to be fair, they're also not Naniwa/Shapton priced. :) Haven't used the new ones though, so can't say how they perform.

I did discover just the other day, that the metal the DMTs are on is pretty soft (had to drill a hole in one). They would be easy enough to cut. The ones that are "cut and mounted" (if that's what you're referring to)... not really necessary IME.
