Once upon a time not very long ago Chris, by choosing numbers by chance, gave away tapes and CD's of his tutorials. I was lucky enough to win one. It is a fine VHS version of his 'Scale Release Auto' tutorial. I was very happy and had high hopes of learning folders. This past first of September I became a full time knife maker and it looks as though several years will pass before I have enough free time to try to learn making folders. I feel kinda bad just holding onto the tape since there are so many out there that really want to learn from this tape and I am just sitting on it. Therefore I would like to give it away to someone really wanting to learn from it. I will trust that anyone wanting this tape is sincere about making knives taught by it. I hope no one tries to win it without being serious about making these type knives.

So, I have a number written down. It is a number that resides between 1 and 100 and it is not the number 1 or the number 100. For those seriously interested please post your number here on this thread. The number closest to the one I have is the winner. In case of ties there will be a run off. Midnight of this Wednesday EST (11/10/04) is the drop dead time.

Just as Chris did for me I will pay shipping to any of the 50 states and Canada. If overseas you can help me on the shipping.

I am the first ;)
My number is the 25.
I am in the process of making my first folder...
This video would be very instructive for me!

I'll call #54.......It's how many holes I had to drill for the folder I'm working
on (my first lock back).
Thanks for the chance.

won't participate, but if 88 get's chosen, please give it to the one who mostly deserved it. :)

I'm not going to participate, because like you, I'd like to do it one day but it's likely to sit for quite a while before I have a chance. I admire that you're giving it away in the same spirit you recieved it in, good show.

Don if you want to know why I picked that number, I'll tell you after the Pick :D if you don't know now :)
