Chris Reeve Inlays - worth it?

Ive had micarta smalls that i put thru the ringer and they never flinched. Actually sent one thru the washing machine. When they get really dirty i just douse them with dawn liquid and scrub them off.

CRK will replace micarta on current production models o

If that’s the large, I’m looking for the exact same knife in MagnaCut.

That is the large. Not Magnacut though
It’s beautiful. Now knowing that the inlays are warrantied by CRK, I’ll be spending the extra $100. I’ll be happy with the extra width and enhanced grip, and it’s just prettier to look at.

It doesn't matter what we think of micarta: do YOU like it enough to reach for your wallet?

....What I was hoping to accomplish if I order one with the inlays is enhanced grip and to give the handle slightly more width so I have a little more feel when I grip it.

If that's what you're hoping to accomplish, then the micarta inlays definitely do both of those things.

99% of women surveyed stated that they thought that men who spent the extra for micarta inlays on their CPKs were hot. (Is it that they have fatter wallets, or does that level of taste and style just make women weak in the knees? I suppose we'll never know for certain.)

But...who am I to argue?

The other 1% thought Les George guys were ok….

What are all of those women telling you; as they pour the drinks??

I’ve tried all the blade shapes on the Inkosi, and I have chosen my favorite. They were all plain titanium scales, however. So, to those of you who have experience both with the plain titanium and the micarta inlays on the Large Inkosi…is it worth the extra $100?!
I don't think those inlays are worth what they're charging for them, especially the micarta ones.

I bought a large 31 with the faux ivory inlays and it looks cool, but in my opinion not $100+ more than the standard cool. The inlays also make the knife itself a bit thicker which can be good or bad depending on your taste. I personally prefer a slimmer profile for the pocket.
