Chris Reeve Knife Help!

How much was it? I ask because I would be surprised to see a genuine CRK at a flea market. Possible sure, but you don't tend to see high dollar items at flea markets.

Expensive items do end up at Flea Markets, but much of it is inexpensive items. People die, default on storage units, get put in jail etc. All their belongings end up somewhere. I spend 10-15 hours a week at Flea Markets, Storage Unit Auctions, Police Auctions etc. Imagine a one studio apartment all boxed up and put out in front of you. You start going through boxes, dressers and such and start investigating whatever you find. You never know what you will find. A box of paper money, stolen items etc. It's all in there sometimes.

To the OP
I recognize the description. I bought the same knife from EBay for about $10 some years ago. Not a bad knife for $10 except for the ridiculous attempt at making it look like a Sebenza.

BTW the lock holds it open, not closed. Mine didn't last long; the screws started backing out and I lost one.

I spent $5 on a Wenger/buck "SwissBuck" at a flee market type place just about a week ago. I noticed Wenger was the manufacturer, so I bought it. It turns out its somewhat rare. I looked it up and found out it's worth at least $75. I buy things at flea markets all the time basically for pennies, that turn out to be valuable. I would be careful, and double check that it's real. If it is, its an awesome deal.

Is it being sold by a "dealer" or just by some guy that has some crappy knives? It it's a dealer its most likely a fake. If it's not, the seller just might not know what he has.
