This is a Christmas Eve present. I'll gift a subscription to Blade or Knife magazine on Christmas Eve. Blade now has digital subscription too!

Simply post what your favorite Christmas movie or song is! (A knife pic would be cool too)

My favorite Christmas movie is Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - the old one from the 60s.

My favorite Christmas song.....I downloaded a Sia Christmas album last year that I'm growing fond of. It has some great new Christmas songs on it.

Nice giveaway.

I've always liked the movie White Christmas.

As to a favorite Christmas song, I've got two. One secular, and one religious. "All I Want for Christmas" and "O Holy Night" both express nicely what I think Christmas is and should be about.

Randy, this is one of the annual traditions I look forward to on The Porch; thanks!!:thumbsup::cool::)
But I thought you moved it to July at some point. Or do you do it twice a year now??:D
Anyway, I'd like to enter, please!
Movie: It's a Wonderful Life (although I always make sure to watch A Christmas Story and The Lord of the Rings trilogy each year between Christmas and New Year).

Song: Glory to the Newborn King from Chanticleer's We Sing Christmas CD always moves me
(but I also enjoy playing (badly) the old standard carols on my harmonica while my daughter plays them (well) on her violin).

Knife: I bought this Taramundi in Sevilla, Spain on December 26, 2014

Thanks again, Randy, and best wishes to all of the entrants! :D:D
Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night!

Thanks for the GAW opportunity Randy, favorite movie is Christmas Vacation (although I just recorded Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer night before last) , best scene is Chevy in the attic watching old home movies of childhood Christmases with Ray Charles singing "Spirit of Christmas" favorite movie and song all in one. Many favorites also but those stick with me;)

Favorite Christmas Show: The (Yearly) Doctor Who Christmas Special
Favorite Christmas Movie: Die Hard... Or Christmas Chronicles
Favorite Christmas Song: God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen

Thanks for the chance and Merry Christmas to you.

Not an entry but thanks for the giveaway!

My favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Carol.

May favorite Christmas songs are I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day and Joy to the World.
Which movie version? There were many. I like the George C. Scott one best.

Another generous GAW!

Not an entry, but I'd like to play anyway.

Movie: March of the Wooden Soldiers-Babes in Toyland

(didn't that use to play every year around Christmas?..or was that Thanksgiving?..well, Santa was in MOTWS)

"No, no...I said 600, 1 foot soldiers..not 100, 6 ft soldiers"..haha.

My most "Christmasy" traditional

That's the only one I'd seen until this year when I watched the 1951 version (remastered in color). It was pretty good, but not as good.
There are MANY versions. Haven't seen them all. I think there's at least one silent version. I remember one from the 1930s, I think. Even a musical in the 1960s called "Scrooge", with Albert Finney that is worth checking out. I just think Scott nailed it. And the supporting cast was superb, from Frank Finlay as Marley, to Scrooge's nephew and employee Bob Cratchit and the Ghost of Christmas Present, etc. Nothing else comes close for me.
