Christmas Gift Exchange?

sorry I'm slow answering, been out in the woods for the past couple of days.
got mine.
what's the timeframe for delivery?
are we supposed to wait until mid-december to build the suspense, or send them out in the next week or 2 with "do not open" instructions?

I snagged a couple good deals yesterday so my gift will be boxed and ready to go. Did we decide on a $ limit?
 
That`s up to you guys, I`m not in it, so I don`t think I should say how much to spend.
 
still getting stuff together -- I have been operating under the impression that ca$h out of pocket limit for new items is $50 - but if you're boxing up stuff you already had, it's personal choice?
 
I've only participated in one of these....is the exchange where one box filled with stuff is sent along and we add to it when we take out and then send it to the person we received? Or do we just send gifts to the name we received? Sorry for the noob question.

Mine is boxed and ready to ship, hopefully I won't get stuck working and can get it in the mail today.
 
I mailed mine off this afternoon. With luck it will get there Friday. If not, then Monday.
 
:( I'm still waiting for some trade goods I was supposed to have 2 weeks ago.
If they're not here Friday, I will have to come up with alternative items to send.
 
Received my gift yesterday and WOW! I didn't have time to post a pic between overtime at work and the wife and baby being sick but I want to say thank you to Daniel for a wonderful gift. It is perfect and will see plenty of use. I'll try to get a pic posted this evening or tomorrow.
