Christmas Knives

My Holt Specter got quite the workout Christmas morning. My brother in law and father both had knives, but mine seemed to get the most use by far.

The even funnier thing was Christmas Eve at my dad's extended family get together. At one point in the night my sister discovered my concealed Walther PPS I was carrying and jokingly asked why I had a gun with me. My dad, brother in law, and uncle all chimed in saying they each had one too. :D

I’ve been using a blurple Manix 2 in S110v, and lending other family members a Case Texas Jack, which was much admired by all. Have also been testing a Mark Hill Kephart in O1 for fire prep. Keeping it sharp over here in the UK. Hope all on here have had a happy and peaceful Christmas, and wishing you all a prosperous and healthy New Year. :)

This was gifted to me by my 4 year old son. A little Wenger with scissors, tweezers, file and blade. 20181225_162832-2241x3984.jpg

On Christmas eve I gifted a Buck 112 for the gift exchange. It was the type of exchange where you can steal other people's gifts. Out of the 20 gifts in the exchange the buck was stolen the most.

if you’d possibly be interested in letting your Specter go I’d be your guy. Hope you had a happy holiday.

About 13 years ago my wife bought me a Spyderco Spyderfly. I loved it. I stuck it in my back pocket using the pocket clip and off we drove to Louisville to see her folks. When we got there and I went to fish it out of my pocket. The latch had popped open allowing the handles to spread about 1/4" and I proceeded to stab my finger nearly to the bone.

Thankfully, the knife was Newgrahms, so the "You're going to need them" band aids they throw in with their orders had made it with us.

This Christmas she and my daughter picked out a Schrade Balisong. Learning my lesson, I took 10 minutes this morning and cobbled together a sheath out of scrap leather so that I can carry the knife without stabbing myself. It's also from Newgrams, so the provided bandages will be coming along just in case;)

a "girl" is never yours until she kisses you, sometimes they show too much affection --- all the same, keep em close!
one time i got a little too drunk and practiced my Batanga moves on a live butterfly, and started with the wrong side (whoops!)
the cpm 154 of a BRS bladerunners bali merely "licked" my knuckle and i bled a whole 20 minutes, good stuff, good times!

Sorry, but not a chance, Chance. I've seen your collection in the Pride. Are you trying to collect them all? ;)
