I just met with Chuck Bybee (www.titanium-man.com) He picked my up from campus and took me to his home. In the drive over, we were stuck in traffic, and he was a really great guy to talk to.
He has three kinds of Ti (commercially pure, 6AL4V, and 6242). He was kind enough to give me a good amount of each so that I could experiement with it for my jewelry class.
Chuck and his family were very nice, and it was great to actually meet someone from bladeforums. I am looking forward to working with the Ti. he gave me. Hopefully I can produce something decent from it.
