Sup natedogg ! This is off subject but its nice to know that there are bali lovers up in the washington state. I havent seen many.(3 including me).Do you know about the laws regarding carrying the bali in seattle?:confused:Thz ahead of time.

Yep: Balisongs of any size are illegal in Seattle and, I am pretty sure, the whole state. Knives longer than 3.5", carried concealed, are illegal. :( I usually carry one anyway but I lost all my BM42s. :(

Well Federal Way is only about 27 miles from Seattle so im preety sure that they are legal here. The only thing that sucks is that all my bali's blades rae 4 inches. I still carry mine though.

Nah, I'm 99% sure that within Federal Way city limits they are illegal. I'm also pretty sure they are illegal in the whole state.

Any folding blade longer than 3.5", and ANY fixed blade are both illegal in the city of Seattle. Balisongs specifically, well I'm not sure, but unless they slipped through a loophole, it doesn't look good. There was an article in Blade magazine about knives in Seattle, a few years ago. I don't know if not concealing the folder makes a difference or not. I think if you're under 3.5" you're okay, but balis, I doubt it.

What type of balis does he make, complete customs, rehandles, inlays or what? Thanks.

Damnit, still no knife and still no response from Chuck. I'm beginning to feel skeptical and have expressed my feelings in a 3rd email to him. :barf: An explanation of delay would be fine but leaving me in the dark is not. He said the knife is done and he was sending it, he said he would have pictures scanned very soon... but as it is I'm left with no proof the knife exists and no words of comfort. I hate to bad mouth Chuck as he seems like a really good guy and I'm extremely happy he's accepted creating exactly the knife I dream of. But I've become restless after so long and sort of upset already that I don't have any good balis... everyday I expect to come home to a package. Once, a person that lives with me said there was a package for me and I was really really excited, but rushed home to find it wasn't the knife. :( I'm just sick of waiting, my patience is gone, and I can't stand this any longer. I'll try and call him again, but 2 more days of no response and I'll look into other ways to get his attention. :(

Have called and left a message, called numerous times to no answer, emails numerous times... what is left? How much longer do I wait??? :(

He shipped a knife to somebody. Looked pretty nice, so I sent him my final payment.

Now, all we can do is wait and hope.

Wait and hope. And wait. And wait. Until hope becomes lost in the desolate waiting. And yet still we wait. What patience we pretend to have.:barf:

Its been one month since, after I paid in full, Chuck Griffin said my knife should arrive. WTF.

I'm thinking good thoughts for you. :)
I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

This is really an ugly one.
