chuko has passed

I always enjoyed seeing Charles' wonderful knives, and your splendid photos of them, John ( Chief Chief ).

He seemed to be a real gentleman and was an inspiration to many of us. I read that article you linked, somewhere along the line I knew he was the Mayor of Edmond, OK. It looks like he was as well loved and respected in his real world community, as he was in this virtual community.

My sincere condolences to his family and friends, including you, John.
RIP Charles. You will be missed.

I'm very sorry to hear this. Charles certainly had good taste in knives and had shown many fine examples over the years.
A sad loss for his friends and family.

RIP Chuko, Fair winds and following seas. Condolences to his family during this time.

I got my first custom from him off flea bay years ago, he had gotten the knife here, that lead me here. I carry this knife almost everyday, and always use to open Christmas gifts. Godspeed Charles, may God bless and comfort your family. Some of the best people aren’t in our lives long enough.

Terrible news John I am so sorry.
The only times I had any interactions with him was when he would occasionally buy a few knives from me off of the exchange but it was always a a pleasant and smooth experience.
Please pass our condolences to his family and also John I am so sorry you lost your friend.

I am so very sorry to hear this John. This very day I was thinking of Charles as I received a vintage lobster in the mail. Monday I posted to him in his Lobster Thread. He never responded. Oh the suddenness of our departure.

Thanks for informing us of Charles' passing, Chief Chief ; sad news. I hope fond memories of his life will eventually replace the grief over his death for his family and friends.
