chuko has passed

Thanks for posting John, I always felt embarrassed posting any of my NYK knives after Chuko posted his priceless beauties but he encouraged it! Very nice write up about him in the Edmond, OK local paper... The community really loved him and he served them well for many years. Chuko will continue to inspire us here on The Porch forever.
 
I was so sorry to hear this yesterday. I've had many dealings with him through the years and had the pleasure of meeting him when he came to AZ. Perfect gentleman all the way. He really appreciated the idea of collecting and the history of knives. Man he will be missed.

Very sad to hear this. I didn't have any personal dealings with the man, but I truly enjoyed looking at the lobsters he posted.
 
My condolences from central Texas. I had many great dealings with Charles and am happy to know he was well respected not just here on the forums but IRL. I will miss Chuko
 
Condolences to you, his family and friends.. I'm terribly sorry to hear of this news John. He'll certainly be missed here on the porch.
