Differentially Heat Treated
Flat Ground.
Hand Rubbed, Acid Etched Finish.
Green Canvas Micarta Scales, 1/4 Stainless lanyard tubes.
Includes Black Leather RH Sheath with belt clip.
(can make a custom sheath to order if wanted)
Blade Length Tip To Plunge: 4"

Dan you are turning out some primo blades. I love the lines and flow of the entire tool, not sure whether to call them retro or contemporary. I'm not sure if Christine and Pamela would be very happy if I brought a 3rd into the house... ;-)

I have always been into classic cars and retro architecture. I love the sleek lines and flow that was so prevalent in both. I think it comes out in our designs quite often :)

Thanks Bill. We only do one quench, its just timing and movement :) If you get the timing right you can make as many lines as you want. If you want to know more on the technique shoot me a pm or email. Always happy to share :)

One of the first things I noticed when handling one of your knives Dan, is the handle shape provides a strong grip, Awesome.

I have done it several times,just curious how you did it, when i did it like you i just edge quenched watched my steel color went a tad deeper and held and deeper and held usually around a 3 count ,a stop and go deal,am i right lol?

Pretty close Bill! The count changes slightly depending on edge thickness and grind profile. definitely a stop and go deal though, and takes a steady hand. lol
