Congrats, StuntDouble! Remember, it's okay to still buy knives, even after you have that perfect specimen (8OT) that will last a lifetime and do almost everything a good cutter could be called on to do. ;)

Heck, if I knew you were that close, I should have just driven down to the shore and put it in your hand. Stop off in Cambridge to visit some family as well.

I just wanted to let you know the 8OT made it here safe and sound. It's going to be fun sharpening and cleaning this one up, though I'm going to do my best to preserve the staining already on the blade.

Thanks again for the generous giveaway. I look forward to using this one for many years to come.
