This classc hunter, sports a clay hardened 52100 blade with an etched patina finish.

The guard is forged wrought iron with acid copper etching and heat blued overlay.

The ferrule is copper with red fiber spacers and bowling ball insert.

Handle is red mallee' [stabilized] with a copper pin.

This is a "truely" flat ground blade with no secondary grind at the edge.
Shaving Sharp. O.A.L 9/1/2"

Thanks for L:D:Dking Fred

Nice looking knife. I like the contrast with the copper and red spacers. Okay, I'll ask...bolling ball spacer? What exactly is that and how did you get it?

Brunswick was the company that manufactured this particular bowling ball.
I have found thru experiment, the best way to disect a ball is to put a couple
of pieces of rebar in the finger holes, jam these into the ground and have at it
with a chainsaw. Fred
