Photos Classic Motorcycles and Traditional Knives

Yesterday I went for a little bimble before I had to go to the hospital in the afternoon.

Somehow I ended up in the woods and down some single track roads where the centre was packed with debris so had to ride on the side's my bars where brushing the hedges.

Went to the hospital for a carpal tunnel assessment (again) basically they electrocute you up and down your hand and arms.
Its horrible I am sweating now thinking about it.
If I was a POW I would have given my name rank and number and written an essay it was that nasty.
But I look at it this way in England we have the NHS,they saw me within a week, its free some people aren't so lucky,as a Army vets have a covenant (of sorts)

After that I shot down the road to my favourite pizza place I go to in the summer.
Its the same every time the smallest Margerita pizza (which is still big) with anchovies, then sit in the old town square people watching as I enjoy my slice of Italy.

Next week I am getting an injection in the wrist,I am desperate because the pain when I ride is now unbearable and I am close to the end of my tether.

Sounds like a eventful ride but ended with a nice lunch. Good luck with the carpal tunnel I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy. My father-in-law had the surgery wrist and has regenerated every since.

I've owned a KLX650 in the past. Put about 8000 miles on it. Never should have sold it..

I got a new ride end of last year. 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 2000cc. Certainly not a classic...but a fun ride!

When my Electro Myelogram (EMG) indicated that I had a genuine Carpal Tunnel problem, I opted for surgery over injections, and the pain went away. I still have some tingling, but it doesn’t keep me awake at night. Good luck on your future procedures.

I dont even ask if my bike has passed its MOT anymore, thats the annual UK fitness test as it always does.

I have been going to the same bike shop for decades, now the son does the work nowadays while Dave his dad tells great story's.

Like he used to tape up Mike Hailwoods boots ,he still has his tyre rack, bench, race decals and other bits.

He knew the family as he worked in Hailwood seniors bike shops back in the day.

Today I found out that the low level jack they have been using forever, was the same one used to jack up Mike Hailwoods AJS 7R Boy Racer.

Here it us under my bike, how cool is that?

Today he showed me loads of cuttings he's collected about Mike the Bike,if you are lucky he shows you photos of the over 100,000 bikes that have been through the shop.

You can see the origins of choppers and other trends.

That's pretty cool about the jack
We have our own Dave Clark, although he's lost the "e". He has a small shop in the St. Louis area called Dave Clark's Forever Endeavor Cycles. Specializes in airhead BMWs and Urals. Real nice guy.
