You got that one right Paul. The pull of the Norton 850 is awesome. It really feels strong (but not so fast that you are going to get in trouble like modern super bikes).

That's the way my '84 Sportster was. Felt really strong. And good. But yeah any of the modern liter bikes are on a whole different level of power.

I had my 68 White Owl with me since it is nice and small and doesn’t take up much pocket space.

That is a big engine. It must pull your arms out of their sockets. You could put the displacement of my Norton and BMW together and it would still be 400cc smaller.

Travman - yep, this ain’t no dainty motor. Just taken delivery, 116miles on the clock, very impressive power unit.

Had the same model last three years, 107cu.in - not much smaller (had a cam upgrade) but this is smoother with more grunt - a lovely ride, effortless.

Certainly a solitary form of adventure and self reflection enjoyed on two wheels.

Must be pretty heavy as well... Better have a lighter one on our twisty Alpine roads (even the Beemer suffers).

Ha Ha !! Talk about big motors!! This one is called a Boss Hoss!
A guy who owns a local Bagel shop bought one, and the first time he revved the engine to take off,
the V-8 torque threw him and his bike onto its side!!
No transmission, just direct drive!!
Way too much testosterone!!

I'd like to ride one of those. I don't want to own one mind you, I just want to take one for a spin, just to say I did.

I think if you keep it above 50 mph (approx. 80 kph) the virus can't catch you.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
