Classic remakes, or bring back the SYKCO 5 to 11 knives?

I had the privilege of reprofiling another SYKCO 1311 this afternoon. This one was done at 17 degrees per side V-grind edge bevel, tapers to around 20 DPS at the tip. it was virtually brand new when I received it so the edge was very heavy. I measured about 25 DPS on the straight portion (35 degrees per side at the tip).

Now this will be a very efficient cutting tool for all manner of work shy of very hard materials. Every time I get to pick up one of these knives I cannot help but recall what a fantastic design it is. LOTS of forward weight on these make for one powerful blade for how light and fast they are. Can't help but wish for a reissue of these in SR-77 steel or something similar. Just the perfect pack knife for me.

Looking good she is going to be one sharp beast. Love the whole 11 family and like previously mentioned a run in something like SR77 would be great. Missing the Dog Father to put into my collection of similar RES C blades.
