Classy Knives

So I have figured out what my collection of knives is missing. I need a classy knife, I have all the tool I can get. Spyderco Delica, Spyderco Tenacious, Benchmade Griptilian, and a Kershaw leek. I want a higher end classy knife anywhere in the 100-200 dollar range and I want some suggestions. Something to take to weddings, dances, interviews, etc. Preferably not something not super aggressive.

You can find a 940-1 on the exchange for >=$200 fairly easily if you are patient. There are classier knives for sure, but this would be something that you could edc without feeling like you are under-knifed. I saw a brand new one on the exchange pretty recently for $200 if I remember correctly. CF Sebenzas are as "classy" as I own though...

Yep. Sure dont want to be under-knifed at a wedding or dance! :D

What you are looking for is called a "gentleman's knife."

There is a current thread on the subject...you might find it informs your choice...

Or we can just have two current threads on the subject....

Mcusta Kamon. If you want larger(so as not to be "under-knifed"), LionSteel TiSpine. (over budget, however :()

When I said "you can edc" I wasn't implying edc to wedding. I meant that OP can carry it outside of weddings and it will be capable of pretty much anything that somebody is going to use a folder for. A 940-1 is more than enough knife for me. I was implying that I doubt OP is going to need a much bigger/"capable" folding knife. If a 940-1 is "classy" enough for OP, it's a good EDC option for a lot of people IMO

He "already has all the tool I can get." He said that in his opening post. He is looking for something "high end classy."

How is that 940 any more "high end classy" than the Spyderco Delica, Spyderco Tenacious, Benchmade Griptilian, and a Kershaw leek he already has?

Al Mar, Fallkniven, Lionsteel and Great Eastern Cutlery would all be worth taking a looking at

Lots of options, but first to mind is the Spyderco Chaparral! CF or Raffir Noble. One of the most practical and classy knives I own! If you like something a little larger, you can't go wrong with a Sage1 or Sage2. Even bigger I'd say Gayle Bradley 2.

There are a couple really nice Protech blades. Like the Newport, Sprint, Runt, smaller TR series, Godson, etc. They are great knives!!

Mcusta are very classy knives and supreme cutters, esp. the VG10/damascus laminated ones. Also I'd suggest checking out AG Russell's website. He always has some classy looking blades.

Al Mar: osprey, hawk, falcon.
I know @$150 for aus8 steel, but classy.

I like my Kershaw Chill for what the OP is taking about using it for.

How about Kizer Gemini. Very clean classy look. By all reports great quality for price.

For some reason I always think of "classy" as a slip joint. I use a Chaparral for such times now.
