On this picture you can see Clemente with my very good friend Gigi Sechi watching the maestro Paolo Calaresu at work .
Both are very humble persons because they look at him like students but both are very high level knife-makers .

Sorry to dredge up and comment on an old post, but I LOVE seeing photos of the makers themselves. What a great picture, the best of the best always recognize another master of a trade and try to learn from them.

One of the things that make any handmade item truly perfect is the imperfections.... Those imbue the object with the soul of the maker, for the rest of to admire and look upon with awe.

Although I have a very critical eye, these masterpieces must be looked upon as a whole, and the flaws are what show the human touch. Perfection is achieved through imperfection. Otherwise, just buy the Zero Tolerance version.
