Cliff bars

Mostly I use them to avoid headaches when I miss lunch at work, but I also keep them in my car and every backpack. Good stuff. Lots better than the old Power Bars, which was one of the first popular versions.

I will go against the grain here - cliff bars SUCK. The only thing they are good for is keeping me hydrated, because I wash them down with about a liter of water. Snickers do a better job of giving me fuel, and they don't taste like a foot.

The exception to that is the Cliff Mojo bars, which are basically candy bars. They are mighty good.

I like most of the Clif bars, my wife doesn't- UNTIL she tried a Mojo bar- we both agree they are good :)

The Pumpkin and Ginger bread were my favorites, but they only come around in the fall. The Carrot Cake is the one I go for anytime.

I love them too, though haven't bought them in a while now. The price seems to change where I am and buying in bulk doesn't seem to help much with them. They are very tasty and are still edible when it is below freezing....left some in the trunk of my car this winter.

nasty turd bars....make you drink a gallon of water to work. gimmie some gorp or moose goo....

So far I have found not found a Clif Bar flavor I don't like! I usually use em when I work through lunch at work, or to help me through the last 3 or so hours of my 10 hour shift.

love clif bars luna "smores". butreally like lara bars the best. tho they cost more. my fav of lara bars is cashew cookie. if ya read the ingredients, its cashew and dates..what? i can do that. so now i make my own. use cashews and dates(pitted of course) and add my own touch-chocolate covered espresso beans. easy to do in a food processer. just keep at it till ya get the right combination that it rolls up into a ball. roll out cut into bits if you like. i carry em always now. sugar and a tad of caffeine for quick energy and fats from the nuts for long term energy. and they taste great!

Who loves em? :D
I actually like just about every Cliff Bar flavor, although if I have to pick one I'll go with the peanutbutter and chocolate. Yum!

Ive noticed that almost everyone has a cliff bar in their BOB.
One of the reasons you see so many of them in BOBs, PSKs, and daypacks is that unlike a lot of other energy bars or candy bars, they don't melt into messy goo when left out on a hot day.

I used to eat them as a breakfeast on the run. Kept me fueled pretty good and the Choc chip is damn tasty

I made the switch from Power Bars when Cliff first made the scene and never looked back. I like 'em all.
