This knife does have two pins; the front one is hidden to better show the handle material. This is a nice size knife for a hunter. I carry one about this size and have field dressed everything from Elk and bear to quail.

1/8 inch ATS34
Hollow ground
Mirror finish
Stabilized curly maple handle

Overall length: 8 1/2 inches
Blade: 4 1/8 inch
Hand sewn leather scabbard

Nice work, I like that design!! What is the width of the blade at the ricasso? (by width I mean cutting edge to spine)

I hadn't read the FAQ's for this forum i can't receive pm's:o Mr. Drew, perhaps you can email me that info.

GORGEOUS !!!

I don't know which is more aesthetically pleasing...the knife or the sheath!!!

Me thinks we have similar tastes....our differences being that you can turn your tastes into something tangible!

Really oughta start a seperate thread...But do you (or anyone else) find that the last 1" or so of blade is needed for Elk/Bear? The biggest thing I hunt is whitetail. My favorite knife is a very unimpressive and cheap buck 476 that I broke the tip off of (I know, I know:o,...classic story with that one) and reshaped so its half drop point half skinner in its profile...and its only a hair over 3" now. It would be perfect if its handle had another 1/2".

Exactly 1 inch Ray. Feel free to copy it if you want.

Thanks, but I don't think I could copy it yet even if I wanted too though; I'm a few years behind you as a maker. Maybe someday, I just couldn't tell from the pic; it looked slimmer to me. Beautiful design at a great price. Your knives just keep getting better and better everytime you post them!

To All:
Received my knife yesterday (it was delayed by the Witch Creek Fire evacuations) this knife is absolutely Awesome!!! the photos above are avery good depiction, but, don't do the reality justice!! The fit & finish are top notch, the handle fits my smallish hands perfectly (as well as my son's much bigger hands) balance is excellent & the knife feels 'alive' in the hand. I like shaving sharp knives, this knife defines sharp.Sheath has a unique finish that harmonizes nicely with the handle.

Thanks Gerry!! This won't be my last purchase.
